Our approach to intelligent machine automation

Every challenge requires a different solution

No two production processes are the same. Materials, volumes, tolerances and integration requirements all vary. That is why a standard machine is rarely the right answer.

At Zenna Laser Solutions, we take a structured approach to developing and realising laser solutions that fit your process, not the other way around.

We start with your process, not the technology

We start by understanding your current production setup, challenges and goals.

What are the limitations of your current process? Where do inefficiencies, quality issues or handling problems occur? By exchanging the right information at an early stage, we define the basic requirements before moving towards a technical solution.

This process-first approach helps us determine whether laser technology, vision, robotics, material handling or software can improve your production in a practical and reliable way.

From challenge to concept

Many projects involve new or complex materials that have not been laser processed before. That is why we often start with laser trials on our pilot line. You provide the material, we run the tests and return the processed samples for evaluation.

These cut samples give a realistic indication of future production results, because the laser process itself is highly stable and repeatable. This allows us to assess at an early stage whether a laser solution can meet the required quality and output expectations.

Through testing and validation, we evaluate:

The goal is to prove the laser process before proposing a complete system.

Once the basic laser process is defined, we investigate which level of automation is required. We look at material handling, product positioning, robotics, vision technology and integration with the wider production environment.

Based on this, Zenna develops a concept using the selected technologies. The proposal includes the technical approach, potential savings, new production possibilities, key benefits and budget pricing.

Engineering around accuracy, speed and reliability

After the budget proposal has been discussed and a formal Request for Quotation has been received, we create a more detailed system configuration. This includes pre-engineering, price investigations for main components and a realistic project planning based on available resources and ongoing projects.

This leads to a formal quotation with a well-defined proposal, lead time and technical specifications.

Seamless integration in your production environment

After receipt of the purchase order, the design phase starts. This includes mechanical engineering, controls engineering and software development.

The detailed engineering process results in a final machine layout, which is discussed and agreed with the client before production continues.

Special attention is paid to:

Testing, validation and optimisation before delivery

Our systems are built to operate reliably within industrial production environments. The complete machine is assembled in our production hall and extensively tested before shipment.

The client is invited for a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). During this test, the machine is checked against the agreed FAT specifications. Once the line performs according to these specifications, the machine is disassembled and prepared for transport.

A Zenna team, supported by local assistance where needed, installs the laser line on site anywhere in the world. After installation, the system is started up, tested and validated through an official Site Acceptance Test (SAT).

Special attention is also paid to the training of operators, maintenance technicians and product design engineers, so the production team can use and maintain the system with confidence.

Support beyond installation

After installation, we continue to support the performance of the system. Zenna offers performance support, including a yearly preventive maintenance visit and essential wear parts for annual replacement.

This helps keep the system reliable, productive and aligned with the required production quality over time.

Built for today, scalable for the future

Zenna Laser designs systems for your current production needs, while keeping future growth in mind.

Machines can be prepared for higher volumes, new product types, additional process steps or further automation. This helps you invest in a production solution that works today and can develop with your production tomorrow.
