Industrial laser machines and custom automation systems

Zenna Laser Solutions designs and builds industrial laser machines for cutting, marking, welding and automated production. Each system is engineered around the requirements of the production environment, from material behaviour and process quality to throughput, automation and integration.

Our portfolio includes dedicated machine lines for established converting markets, as well as fully custom systems developed from the ground up for unique production challenges.

Whether you need a proven machine concept or a completely new laser solution, Zenna Laser delivers systems built around your material, specifications and output targets.

Find the right machine for your production process

Every laser machine in our portfolio has been developed around a specific set of production requirements. The right system depends on the material, production volume, edge quality, automation level and integration needs.

Important variables include the type and behaviour of the material, whether it is processed from web, sheet or roll, and whether it is rigid, flexible, coated or sensitive. Production volume also plays a major role: continuous processing, batch production and mixed operations all require a different machine concept.

Other key factors include cut quality, edge precision, heat input, debris control, labour reduction, OEE improvement and connection to upstream or downstream equipment, ERP systems or inspection technology.

The machine categories below reflect the markets and applications where Zenna Laser has built deep expertise. Each category can be developed further with specific configurations, options and integration possibilities.

Laser cutting machines for flat fabric airbags and technical textiles

Single-layer flat fabric airbags and other technical textiles require consistent cutting quality across every part. Zenna Laser’s Falcon FF airbag laser cutting machines are built for industrial production volumes, combining fast laser cutting with effective nesting software that minimises material waste.

The result is reproducible cutting quality, minimal operator intervention and fast changeover between airbag patterns.

Laser cutting machines for one piece woven airbags

One piece woven airbag material presents a specific set of challenges. The woven seam structure requires precise positioning, while the cutting process must account for material stretch, bow, seams and consistent throughput across high volumes.

Zenna Laser’s OPW airbag laser cutting lines are designed specifically for this material and its woven seam patterns. They combine vision technology, tight laser process control, dimensional inspection and automated handling to maintain quality and increase automation throughout the full production run.

Wide web laser cutting machines for abrasives

Wide web converting for abrasives involves continuous processing of coated abrasive rolls in widths from 500 mm to 2,000 mm. These production lines often require multiple parallel-positioned laser systems to achieve the required output.

Zenna Laser’s wide web laser cutting machines are built for industrial throughput on large-format rolls. They can process complex disc patterns and multi-hole geometries, including automated stacking of finished parts in one controlled process.

These systems are designed to replace or complement die cutting and knife slitting where tooling flexibility, edge quality and material yield are priorities. Parts can be cut with a minimal trim of 1 to 2 mm, creating a significant yield improvement and reducing waste disposal costs.

Narrow web laser cutting machines for abrasives

For roll formats below 500 mm width, Zenna Laser offers compact laser cutting systems with a single laser for narrow web abrasives. These machines are optimised for discs, belts and specialist abrasive products with a high diversity of shapes.

They provide the same zero-tooling flexibility as wide web lines, but in a footprint and configuration suited to lower volumes, product trials or secondary converting operations.

Laser marking modules for stone wool

Laser marking on mineral wool rolls and panels enables manufacturers to apply logos, grids, R-values and unique identifiers directly onto the product without contact, wear or the limitations of inkjet and hot-wheel systems.

Zenna Laser’s insulation wool laser marking modules are available as standalone systems and as integration-ready modules for existing production lines. Large-area banner marking and compact inline modules are available, depending on the production line width, speed and marking requirement.

Prototype tyre laser carving machine

Prototyping tyre tread profiles with sipes requires precision and flexibility that traditional mechanical methods cannot always provide reliably.

Zenna Laser’s tyre prototype laser carving machine enables engineers to cut, carve and engrave tread patterns into rubber with consistent depth and edge definition. This is especially valuable for noise-reducing sipes and other detailed prototype features.

The process runs directly from digital design files and is designed for R&D environments where fast iteration is important. It helps reduce the lead time and cost associated with physical tooling.

R&D laser cell

The Zenna Laser R&D laser cell is a flexible, open-format laser processing environment for material testing, process development, sample production and application validation.

It is used by Zenna Laser’s own engineering team during machine development and by clients who need in-house capability for testing new materials, shapes and processes before committing to a production system.

The cell can be configured for cutting, marking, welding or perforation and can be adapted as requirements evolve.

Foil and film laser perforation and sheeting machines

Precision laser processing of optical film, thin metal foil and functional packaging materials requires machines built around minimal heat input, tight positional accuracy and stable web tension.

Zenna Laser’s foil and film laser systems process sensitive materials at production speeds through perforation, cutting and sheeting. Process parameters are tuned to the specific optical and mechanical properties of each substrate.

Custom laser systems

Not every production challenge fits a standard machine category. When the material, process or integration requirements fall outside existing solutions, Zenna Laser’s engineering team develops systems from scratch, from first concept to full commissioning at your facility.

Custom projects typically begin with a material assessment and pilot test on one of our in-house laser lines. If the results demonstrate the right process window, we proceed to specification, mechanical engineering, software development and system integration.

Projects have included laser welding systems for heat exchangers, perforation systems for battery foil and cutting systems for prototype tyre components.

If you have a process challenge that you have not yet found a machine for, we welcome a technical conversation.

Discuss your machine requirements

If you know which machine category fits your application, the product pages provide technical specifications, configuration options and application examples.

If you are still exploring which laser process or system type is the right fit, our engineering team is available for a technical discussion.

Zenna Laser can support you with an initial consultation, pilot testing and feasibility assessment. We can discuss your material, process and production targets with a laser engineer, test your material on one of our in-house laser lines and evaluate whether laser processing can improve your production.
