Stone wool laser marking modules

Zenna Laser designs and builds laser marking modules for stone wool, insulation wool and similar insulation materials. The modules are developed for industrial production environments where markings need to be clear, repeatable and easy to integrate into the production line.

Why laser marking for insulation materials?

Stone wool and glass wool have open, fibrous surfaces that make readable marking difficult. Conventional methods such as inkjet or hot-stamping can work, but they often come with limitations such as consumables, maintenance, surface contact, restricted marking sizes or interruptions in the production flow.

Laser marking offers a contact-free alternative. There is no pressure on the material, no ink on the product and no physical marking tool that wears during production. This helps create stable, readable markings while reducing consumable use, contamination risk and maintenance demand.

Built for large-area marking and changing product formats

Insulation production lines often process multiple panels side by side across widths of 1,200 mm or 2,400 mm. When product formats change, the position of logos, R-values, grids, instructions or product information needs to change with them.

Zenna Laser can develop full-width marking modules that place content at the required position for each product configuration. This makes the system suitable for large markings, banners, company logos, identification marks and variable product information, without mechanical adjustments between formats.

Integrated into the production line

Each module is designed around the product, line speed, marking area, available space and required content. The system can be integrated into an existing production line or designed as part of a new manufacturing process.

Depending on the application, the solution can range from a standalone marking module to a fully integrated inline system with product detection, recipes, line control and variable data. This allows the level of automation to match the actual production need.

Controlled through software

Marking content can be managed through Zenna Laser software. Operators can work with recipes, marking patterns, product information and variable data for different product types. Designs can also be managed centrally for machines installed across multiple locations.

When needed, the module can connect to line software or machine control for automatic content selection, process monitoring and synchronised operation. This keeps the marking process flexible, repeatable and suitable for industrial production.

Discuss your insulation marking requirements

Your marking process depends on the material, required contrast, marking size and production line setup. Zenna Laser can help assess what is technically possible and what type of module fits your line.

Share your material or marking requirement with our engineers for sample marking, a feasibility check or a technical discussion about integration.
