In our high-end special machines we combine lasers, robots and Vision technology into an integrated system. This enables our customers to cut, assess and process many complex patterns with great flexibility. The C # software platform is a very important link between laser control, material handling, Robots, Vision, PLC and the various peripheral systems such as ERP and Industry 4.0 registration.

Job description
As an experienced Software Engineer you work together with your colleagues in the software team to expand and maintain the software that controls the machines. You are also co-responsible for the planning, integration and testing of the software on the machines. You will work closely with the other teams: Mechanical, Engineering and Control; and with our suppliers to realize a working solution. Finally, you think along and develop a vision for the long term. A selection of the tasks of a Software Engineer at Zenna:
- developing, writing, testing, implementing, improving, maintaining and updating the software
- analyzing the requirements that our software must meet
- developing the desired specifications
- planning the execution of the work
- commissioning of solutions, at Zenna in the production hall and then afterwards also at the customer on location
- performing unit- and integration tests
- maintaining contact with customers and offering after service
Who you are
- You have a drive for innovations and improvements and you are able to see challenges in embedded software applications
- You quickly pick up new things and you are able to oversee complex matters
- You are strong in problem analysis and take initiative when complications occur
- You take responsibility for your own work and you are able to give insight into the status
- You look beyond your own work and share your knowledge with your colleagues
- You are a professional who can translate the expectations of the customer into practical realizable solutions in the software
- You are able to make priorities between short term solutions and long term goals
What we ask
- An HBO or WO completed education in (technical) computer science or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of, and at least 2 years of experience with, C #, SQL, XML, WPF and WCF
- Knowledge of software architecture and test methods
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel abroad from time to time
- Affinity with technology
