Falcon OPW 25/3000

The Zenna Laser Falcon OPW 25/3000 is the fastest laser cutting system for OPW's in the market.

This innovative laser line is highly automated, using an auto-feed roll change system, three high power lasers and automatic scrap removal. With the powerful inline vision module for accurate positioning and its intuitive user-interface, the Falcon OPW laser line can be run with only one operator.

The Falcon OPW 25/3000 can be extended with the following automation options to streamline production:

·        Pick & Place stacking on a conveyor or in boxes

·        Parts Inspection for holes, dimensions and seam-distance

·        Five parallel inkjet markers with automatic individual positioning for unique ID and twis tline marking

Features & Benefits

  • Turret unwinder as standard for safe and fast roll changes
  • Laser Scanners are static positioned to secure a high accuracy and have a special Zenna designed Protection windows against smoke and debris contamination: increased uptime, no maintenance.
  • Fully automatic roll Feed-In system for fast roll changes within 3 minutes
  • Vision recognition (seam, fiducial, holes) for accurate positioning of each airbag individual
  • Cutting profiles as ‘fixed frame’ or ‘hybrid MDC’ possible.
  • Ability to cut double (mirrored) OPW in one long Marker.
  • Ability to make manual offset adjustments per airbag and even per section.
  • Highest cutting output with three 2.5KW laser sources.
  • New STM-belt, designed for less wearing, no reflection and less fusion.
  • Removal system for waste and rejected parts.

The Falcon OPW is a highly automated production line. Loading a new roll in the idle turret position and identifying the Roll ID with a barcode scanner, that's all. When the roll in production is finished, the turret will automatically turn the new roll in and the material id loaded by the Infeed automatically. Confirm the project at the HMI and the system starts: Positioning by the Vision module, laser cutting, inspection of dimension and seam-to-cut distance, stacking in boxes or on a belt, all these functions run automatically.

The four dome cameras offer the operator an overview of the process, while he is handling the boxes or preparing a new roll.
