Job description
As a Control Engineer at Zenna Laser Solutions, you will be involved in various tasks, including:
- Designing the control concept based on customer specifications
- Implementing this control for a laser application
- Verifying the electrical schematics
- Coordinating and supervising outsourced PLC projects
- Assisting in the acceptance of the laser system on-site
- Resolving control issues at customer locations, primarily through Remote Access
- Regularly reporting on the progress of the activities
You are closely involved in a project from start to finish, and several times a year, you will travel to the destination of the machine for commissioning at the customer's site. Given that our clients are spread worldwide, you may find yourself in some beautiful locations along the way!
Who you are
- You are capable of working both independently and in a team
- You are customer-oriented
- You have a solution-oriented way of thinking and working
- Interested in the development of new control systems?
What we ask
- A completed MTS/HTS education (MBO/HBO)
- Experience in machine building
- Experience with servo drives and frequency converters
- Knowledge of, and experience with programming PLC controls in Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley
- Knowledge of Sigmatek is a plus
- Proficient in the English language
